Our Vision
To advance the interest of our members and community
Our Mission
The mission of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce is to develop and provide leadership that improves the business climate, education, and the quality of life for all of Madison County.
Our History
On the evening of October 29, 1920, a group of businessmen, the founders: F. H. Parker, A. T. Graham, and Tip Ray, gathered in Canton, Mississippi, to organize and to draw up the Articles of Incorporation for the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. This humble start was then filed with Jes W. Power, Secretary of State, on January 31, 1921.
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce consists of a Board of Directors, Committees, Liaisons, Members, and other volunteers who are the lifeblood of the organization. Many of our programs and events have been around for more than 10 years and have become a staple in the local business community.
The footprint of the Chamber consists of our five cities: Canton, Flora, Gluckstadt, Madison, and Ridgeland. Our mission continues to be to keep our members informed, educated, and connected...the same since 1921!
